It’s that time of the year. Time for us Leideners to get slizzard at the Ontzet, take one final dunk in the canal, and then move on to attend one or more ridiculous Hallowe’en parties probably outside of town. All the while sipping pumpkin spice somethings. Because it’s October. Oh, and did I mention tons of rain? Yeah, that too.
Well, never fear, dear fellow LUPlovers, because this month is also going to be filled with action and adventure, provided to you by your one and only, LUPride!

LU Pride Peer Support Sessions
October 11, 17, 25, 12:00-14:00 | Meeting point by Plexus
LU Pride is launching a peer support program in collaboration with Leiden University designed to provide a safe space for LGBT students at LU.
The meetings will be held from 12:00 to 14:00, Tuesdays and Wednesdays on alternating days.
30-minute sessions with student peer supporters both in Dutch and English for help and support for LGBT Students.

To celebrate International Coming Out Day, Leiden University Pride is organizing a symposium dedicated to a discussion on how culture affects the LGBTQ+ experience. We will have wonderful speakers from all over the world share their stories and talk about their take on the intersectionality of culture and being LGBTQ+.
